Hello,

I myself am not connected to the Atwells. But I visited their  site which was just outside the Cotswold village of Shilton, Oxfordshire, In order to help someone with their family history who had contacted me.

They certainly had fairground rides, and I think are possibly still in that line of business. John who I spoke to showed me his handiwork, he was painting parts of a ride when I was there.  He and his sister Mary were both lovely people.

If I can recall anything else about the visit I will let you know. For some reason Bourton on the Water comes to mind. Not sure why though!

Regards

Barbara
