Thank you so much Ann Marie,

I'm not well at the moment, so the prospect of this has cheered me right up.

Don't worry if you don't come across anything Mervyn-related. At least we know it's accessable now.

Thanks again. Hopefully chat to you tomorrow,
Dave

Dave,

I went to the cemetery lastnight after getting the keys off Vincent (the Tea Lane Cemetery committe head) but unfortunately when I got there the keys wouldnt fit any of the locks. Vincent then came down and met me there and it looks like someone has changed the locks on the gates.

So we are back to square one again with no keys to the cemetery. Vincent said he will ring around and try and find them but really doesnt know where to start.

So best I could do at the moment is I took some pictures of the cemetery from the outside.

Sorry
Ann Marie

My god, you couldn't make that up!

All the twists and turns. It's like a plot from a thriller.

Thanks again Ann Marie for all your efforts. The photos are at least something to hold on to.

Sad to think of the many relatives people have buried there and they have no access to visit or leave flowers.

I wonder why the lock was changed, maybe there's been trouble with safety/wrong people gaining access?

It does look nice in the sunshine, but I'm sure it's bleak on a cold winter's night!

Thanks again. You're a little gem,
Dave

I will keep trying Dave (It will annoy me till i get into that graveyard) I think the problem is that there seems to be a connection point for the ESB in their and a couple of people have to come in and out of it and each time they probarly break the locks to get it...

Next point of contact is the ESB. Vincent did state if they cannot find keys they will probarly have to break the locks...

It is bad it is locked all the time, but Tea Lane Cemetery committe cut the grass every few months and try to keep it in order.

Will let you know how I get on.
