Hes with his mum, Anne Grocock (nee ?), in 1871, in Theatre Street. Have you got these details?

Also found a remarriage for his mum, Anne, in 1871 to Samuel Crawford  Sept 1871 Warwick  Vol. 6d Page 743. She doesnt seem to have much luck with husbands though, as by the time of the 1881 census, shes a widow again living with her Grocock children and one child by her second husband Samuel.

Dont know how much of this you already have, so let me know if you'd like the full details from the censuses.

Regards,
Catherine  :)

Thanks for that, Catherine!   ;D
Would love any details that you have, as I only had the name of William Henry and his address.
Best regards,
Frosty.

Couldn't find an Ann/e Grocock in 1861 so she could been unmarried then. Will look for her and "Grocock" husband for you if you find out her maiden name from her second marriage certificate or one of the childrens birth certs. (a birth certs probably the best bet cos then you'll get her maiden name and her first husbands name)

Regards,
Catherine  :)

Heres a possible birth and marriage for Henry William Grocock -

Birth -
Warwick March 1866 Vol.6d Page 544

Marriage -
Shardlow  June 1892  Vol. 7b Page 846 - possible bride Annie Abbotts (a pretty good bet, as wife is Annie on 1901 census, and right area, and he married between 1891 and 1901 census)

Thank you very much for that info, Catherine!
Will pass on the info to my uncle (who is a Grocock).  William Henry became the headmaster of Little Eaton School.
Best wishes,
Frosty

Not sure whether you are still on this subject, but I have been looking at the history on my house in little eaton and it has revealed that Willam Henry Grocock lived there. I also have a photo of him with school children if you would like me to send you a copy?

Hi David - that's interesting! don't know what year you posted this, but thanks for your reply. I also have a pic of him with schoolchildren, so may be the same - but if you would post it here, would be great, thank you!
Best regards
Frosty
