Hi Dettori28,

Thanks again for all your help and you have hit the jackpot.  Again this information is for the correct families and anything you can send me to back things up will be great.  Any chance of getting any of the kids details so that I could get my auntie to write to them as she kept in contact with Agnes, John P and John F.

Yes Bridget Agnes and Agnes are the one.  We only knew her as Agnes but I have found a record that calls her Bridget Agnes which I think was her baptism.  Yes the marriage probably took place in New York I was trying Ireland as they both had come from Ireland but I never found any marriage for them.

I have got the marriage of Hugh Hanna who came from Castlewellan but married Mary Caines from Battersea and all the four children were born in Battersea.

Any chance of finding any details for his uncle John Hanna.

Thanks so much for all your help my aunties will be thrilled.

Kieran

Hi Dettori28,

Agnes sister was called Catherine Diamond and I think she was married to Duryea and died on the 15 June 1968 in America.

Also there was a Herbert T Moyes who died on the 2 March 1987

Do you know where the Barlow's are buried at?

Thanks as always

Kieran

Have you got a date of birth for Hugh's brother John Hanna ?

I see one in Bronx New York in 1920 E 172 nd Street and 1930 Fenton Avenue born about 1870. Immigrated 1888 but that isn't the address John Hanna was going to in 1922.

Hi Dettori28,

Thanks for all the information.  Unfortunately, I don't know when Hugh's brother John was born.

I have been speaking to my aunties and they say that Susan Helen Diamond married Harry Bradley from Maghera around 1950 -
1970 as when she came home in 1970 she was 20 years married.

Thanks for all your help

Kieran

Catheine I find rather a mystery because you originally were looking for a birth 1895.

On the 1900 Census, Catherine was listed as born 1888 Ireland and was 13 years old  ???
Catherine isn't with the family on your 1911 Ireland Census Record.
I can see a SSDI Record for a Catherine Duryea born 11 Aug 1897 Died July 1980 Brooklyn. Kings. New York.

and another SSDI for Catherine Duryea born 6th May 1900 Died January 1967

The first one was married to Frank F Duryea and their is a US Veterans Gravesite information for that one below

Name: Catherine Duryea
Service Info.: SGT US ARMY  Birth Date: 11 Aug 1897
Death Date: 20 Jul 1980
Relation: Wife of Duryea, Frank F
Interment Date: 23 Jul 1980
Cemetery: Long Island National Cemetery
Cemetery Address: 2040 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale, NY 11735-1211
Buried At: Section 2d Site 2371

If Catherine was born 1895-8 then I would have to assume she went back to Ireland with the family in 1907 so would hope to find a passenger record of her returning married or unmarried. Have'nt found an unmarried one yet.

Rosie McKernan was my grandfathers sister.
