Brooke Priory, Brooke, Rutland

Hi All

I am trying to locate the exact location of the address shown on the census below.

I was wondering if anybody can see the addresses before and after this one on the census to help me pin point it exactly? On this census it is refered to as simply the priory but on nother one it is referd to as Brooke Priory.

Can anybody help me as I would like to visist this address to see where my relatives lived.

Hi Adam

If you look on the site I gave above it says the house is probably 16th century, so no reason to suppose it's not the one you want.  Plus it seems to be a very small place.

Also on that site, if you click on OS Map it gives you the map plus latitude & longitude and the post code.  I think it would probably be quite hard to miss, especially if you have satnav
