Rotherham Quakers
« on: Wednesday 23 June 10 20:10 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Does anybody know if any Quaker records survive for the Rotherham area circa 1650-1680.
I know that there were Rotherham Quakers around that time who emigrated to the USA, I can't seem to find any records for them though.

Stuart, if you are wanting records on them when in England as against after emigration, maybe you could try Dr William's Library in London- it holds non-conformist records.  I don't have an email addrress but you can learn abt them by g**gling.  I fhtye don't hold them they may be able to guide you where to look/ask.
This is a shot in the dark but noone else has come up with an idea :(
They helped me about a  Conregational minister.
