Records of Coroner's Inquest 1930
« on: Monday 28 June 10 22:54 BST (UK) »
Is it possible to obtain details of an inquest into a death in the Aberystwyth area held by T Eyton Morgan, the Coroner for the County of Cardigan on 18th November 1930?

As a starter you may wish to contact Ceredigion Archives.   They hold records for Aberystwyth and the county of Ceredigion (old Cardiganshire).   I've always found the staff very helpful and if they do not have the information they will undoubtedly be able to point you in the right direction.   Web site http://archifdy-ceredigion.org.uk/
e-mail address archives@ceredigion.gov.uk   Telephone 01970 633697/98

Best of luck, Dave

Hi :)

If Dave's suggestion doesn't work out, you could try the local newspapers for stuff on what went on at the inquest.  Local papers thrive on things like that.

I found a very full account of an inquest that way for one of my lot.

Good idea Charlotte.   I'd suggest the Cambrian News as a first stop, it's been around since 1860.......... http://www.cambrian-news.co.uk/  Tel 01970 615000 or possibly The National Library of Wales  http://www.llgc.org.uk   Tel 01970 632800
