Its an odd headstone.

No dob etc, the 5th didnt arrive until after the war finished, and he was with them for only 11months, leaving before the war ended?

Pete

Hi
Joseph Alanzo was a very close family friend to my Grandparents, and lived with them for a long time before he died.  My mum remembers him as "Yank".  My mum is now 85 yrs old and has been asking to go and see Joesph`s grave.

Have you managed to find any more about him or even got any pictures.

Thank you
Michele

Good luck in your quest Michele and welcome. He must have stayed an US citizen and requested one of their military headstones
