Heather,
Going back to your original family, William Cullen and Mary Ann Frazer, I noticed that they were married in Killyman Church of Ireland, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone on 16 Nov 1849. I wondered if there may have been children born before 1857.

ahh, but at the moment we are trying to connect a quinn family into our tree.  As we have been tracking down decendants and memories passed down, we have been told that our cullens had cousins who were quinns,  this is still a work in progress, i will let you know what i find............it could take a while !!!!!!   kind regards from Heather

Hi Heather,

"i know by the 1920's joseph and margaret were living in the whifflet, coatbridge area of scotland as their daughter nellie gave bith to my mother there.......they were still living there around world war 2"

Do you have Joseph in 1911 & if so, how old was he?

If he died in Scotland his DC should give the names of both his parents with mother's maiden name provided the informant knew those details.

There's no death for a Margaret Laurison on SP but may have been a case of the informant not knowing her maiden name.
