hi i am looking for deegan family in wexford.Mygreat grandfather patrick was born in wexford around1860 and his fathers name was robert,dont know much more.Anything to point me in the right direction please

Is this the same Patrick Deegan that you mentioned was married in Dublin whose father was a baker ?

It might be worth checking to see if Robert is listed on Griffith's valuation somewhere. If so it might give you some some locations, and therefore parishes,  in Wexford to start some research.

Here's a link to Griffith's Valuation- it was a valuation listing name of tenant, the immediate lessor (their landlord), description of property, size of holding, annual rent.

Griffith's only lists the head of the household. Not sure what you mean by "also what does all the codes mean."

when you go in  to griffiths you get numbers and files or am  i in wrong page?

Do you mean when you view the scanned page? the numbers there refer to acreage and rents.
