Now, there's a couple of entries concerning a GEORGE allen
but I cannot place where he is in this family of
Thomas & Mary

on the 1861 census i gave you of thomas and mary there was a grandson with them by the name of henry allen
so if he is a grandson with the name allen he must be the son of one of thomas's children
i then found this grandsons baptism and his father was george allen so george allen must be the son of thomas allen
hope this is clearer now

thomas and mary's daughter ann allen who is with her parents in 1841,1851 but not there in 1861
got married in 1856 to william davies

if you have a look at the 1861 census posted of thomas/mary allen
you will find a elizabeth edwards born holdgate with them
wonder if she is anything to do with the martha edwards visiting above
