Welcome to Rootschat

Are these available online or to purchase?

No and no, so far as I can see

See http://www.huntsfhs.org.uk/Pubs.html for what's available to purchase

I can't see that either parish has been filmed by the LDS, so you're stuck with going to Huntingdon Records Office, or using their reasonably priced research research service. However, marriages and burials can be found on Hunts Marriage Index and the NBI. What exactly are you looking for?

I saw some information quoted as: Source: Woodhurst Burial Registry 1739-1812

Its the burial of Mary Gowler (b Dockerill) May 19, 1795

Wanted to know if there was any extra info, or if it listed an age as I have no birth date nor Parents.

In the Warboys register, I have:

Birth of William Gowler Feb 6, 1723 : Warboys Register 1565-1812

I assume his parents are William and Prudence, but i have no further information on them nor a marriage or anything further back!

thanks for any help!

The burial is as you state, but no age is given (ages weren't usually given until 1813). The full entry might say wife/widow of xxxx Gowler, labourer. William Gowler married Mary Dockeril in 1743 at Warboys

There's no marriage in Hunts Marriage Index 1701 onwards of William Gowler marrying Prudence, although it might just be possible that they married pre 1701 as the first Gowler marriage in Warboys after 1701 was in 1715, with the next in 1728

If you're referring to the XXX tree on Ancestry it looks well researched. There are other Gowler marriages in Warboys which are probably children of William and Prudence eg Prudence Gowler married Richard Ellet in 1741

The XXX tree on ancestry is actually mine - collated from all the info I could find and now looking to expand on it with any extra info.
Any chance you could pass on any of the other Gowler related info?

Thanks
Andrew

Can you send me a personal message with your email address and I'll pull out some data (we're not permitted to post email addresses on Rootschat to avoid spammers) and attach them.

Fortunate I didn't say that the XXX tree was a load of rubbish, as so many on Ancestry are!!

Hi, I came straight to this site from a Google search. I am researching the Gowler family and have come to a bit of a dead end with William and Prudence. Any advice, help or info you may have would be most welcome.
I have a family tree in ancestry called 'Gowler family tree'. I have a lot of names of Gowlers pre 1700, but no idea of how they all relate to each other, so it would be good to join some pieces of the puzzle.

Thanks, Phil
