Thanks waiteohman

I wonder if the 3rd sentence could say
'upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis All'?

And beginning of the 5th sentence...
'or ffarm Land'?

End of the 1st sentence...
'touching such wordly'?

my Executors herein after named and as touching such worldly
Estate as it hath pleased God in his good providence to bestow
upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimus All
those my one hundred acres be the same more or less of  Marsh
or Fenn land with their Appurtenances lyeing and being in the
parish and bounds of Ramsey in the county of Huntingdon
late Brownes I give devise and bequeath unto my son James
Coales and his Heirs and Assigns for ever Item all that inn one
third part of a Lott of Marsh or Fenn ground with the
Appurtenances lyeing and being in Pidley ? Fenton aforesaid and
also all that my one third part of a ground with the Appurtenances
lyeing and being in Goodhurst in the said county of Huntingdon

Sorry, I can't make out the word between Pidley and Fenton - it looks like it should be "in" but doesn't look like that word.  As it has been mentioned earlier in the will, you could check whether it's clearer in the earlier mention.

Cheers
Prue

Does this will have any connection to Norfolk?  There appears to have been a Dudwick House, and/or manor:

I think one of the words which was translated as 'Goodhurst' could be 'Woodhurst' ?- I've looked on Google in Huntingdonshire and there is a Woodhurst website which has the following mentioned...

'The name Woodhurst has over the years been spelt Wuduhyrst, Wodehyrst, Wodehirst, Woodhurste and Wood Hurst. There are several explanations as to the original meaning of the name, but hyrst was Old English for ‘a wooded hill’.

Is it possible our missing word could be Wodehirst?

Sally

ps  Thanks for the correction of Premises - I always get that word wrong!
