Williams and Jones Family
« on: Sunday 25 July 10 17:11 BST (UK) »
My dad's dad was born in Coedpoeth his name was Thomas Price Williams he had a sister Martha P,who married a Thomas J. Griffiths and they immigrated to Pueblo, and  two brothers Edward and William.   His mum and dad were Walter and Elizabeth and lived in High St. By Queen's Head.  He married Eliza Jane Jones in December 1909 from Cae Adar Farm, Minera and her mum and dad were John (farmer)  and Jane, she had a sister Louisa.   Thomas and Eliza had 1 son John Price Williams (my dad) I am trying to find any old photos or any information on both families and also Cae Adar Farm and  where Eliza Jane is buried.  I know they moved to Lancashire where Eliza died at the age of 37, but I have a photo of the grave with John & Jane and Eliza on the headstone.  I would appreciate information on any of these two families.

1911 census says John and Jane Jones married 24 years and Mary Elizabeth and Lousia Ann still at home.  Do you have a date for John and Jane's deaths as you will guess there are a large number of Jones to look at.

Hi everyone
To avoid duplication and timewasting, this has been researched on another forum previously.

Hi

Thanks for the information.  I have a photo of the grave of John Jones which says he died May 31st 1913 aged 80.   I don't know when Jane died.   I think she could have moved to Lancashire when Thomas and Eliza moved as I can remember going to see dad's nain.

Hello,

You may not be interested any more (not sure how old this post is!), but John, Jane, and Louisa Jones are my family, if you still want to know about them - Louisa was my great grandmother :)  I recognised the photo you posted as it flashed up on the screen!

Best wishes,
Cbrailsford
