Ffosgotta Farm, Abergarlech
« on: Tuesday 27 July 10 13:59 BST (UK) »
Please can someone help me find Ffosgotta Farm and its residents on any census?

It is near Abergarlech, Carmarthenshire and was farmed by the Jones family in the 1800s/1900s

I am particularly interested in David Lloyd Jones, possibly born ca 1887, who was brought up there.

Many thanks,

I see Morgan has added to her posting about the 1881 so I won't repeat it.

:) :) :) Oh, this really is fantastic folks, thanks so much. I couldn't even find the household!!

David Lloyd Jones went on to be a vicar... he had lots of siblings and all we know so far about his earlier family is that the Lloyd part of his name comes from it and that they leased the farm Ffosgotta.

I will enjoy sorting this one out now I have more info to go on. Many thanks once again.
