I had found Sarah Smart living with her son Thomas on the c1871 so I think I have rounded these guys down now. Many thanks for all of your help.

Many entries on Ancestry have read the abbreviation "Hunts" as "Hants" which is then expanded to Hampshire in the transcription. Which doesn't half screw up searching against "Huntingdonshire"
