I'd like to thank everybody who contributed to this thread, it has really helped me with my tree. Ellen Spencer is my great great great grandmother through her daughter Ann, who also named William Saunders as her father on her wedding certificate. I'd be really interested in any further information that anybody has gathered regarding the Saunders and Spencer families.
