CANNON - 1861 Look up please
« on: Saturday 31 July 10 21:35 BST (UK) »
Is there someone who'd be kind enough to look up the following family in the 1861 please??

James CANNON, born about 1827 Westmoreland,
wife Ann born about 1824, Great Salkeld, Cumbria
Any children should include John Henry P CANNON born about 1860 in Brough, Westmoreland (so they could be living around Brough).

Many thanks
- Aitch  :)

That's great Pam :)  Nice to find them where they should have been!!
I've just tried picking them up on the 1881, have found Ann as a widow (no other family members). Is there any chance of your checking the 1871 to see if they're still together as a family?  I'm now intrigued as to whether there were other children than Mary Jane and John Henry Pattison.

No problem if you don't have time/energy/desire.
 :) :)

Yes, it looks like he was just at his grandparents & the uncle and aunt and their offspring lived at the farm too..
Thanks for these extra BMD entries.   :)
Methinks some birth certs are needed to fathom this little lot for sure!
Many thanks again
