OK - the BISA is wrong.

Birth of Elizabeth HURST
1.3.1859 Angaston
Father:  John
Mother:  Eliza Doherty
16/328

Eliza Doherty & John HURST had other children (16 in all)  and the father is listed as Frederick John HURST. on some of them, mostly just John HURST.
Elizabeth's siblings names Rose, Henry & Richard seem to carry through the McIntyre family.

Hopefully that clears up one part of the jigsaw  :)

Regards,
Sashar

Deb, the service record found by Sashar for Richard Donald had his birthplace as Truro then his schooling was at Wilcannia so when linking families together look for common threads such as places where events occurred and where the family lived. Elizabeth and husband John McIntyre did not stay at Truro all their lives.

Most records found by everyone appear to look as though they are all in the same family. However, these records need to be verified by certificates, and bear in mind that certificates are sometimes known to have errors with names.

As for the death in 1923 I did say it may be Elizabeth.

EDIT: All HURST records were recorded with the father named John.
Adding the HURST marriage

hi, my grandmother was Elsie Agnes Maud Mcintyre, born in Wilcannia after her father John McIntyre moved there from Truro in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. She married a Mr. Hart (don't know his first name and I believe they were not divorced) in Broken Hill, N.S.W. She lived with my grandfather William Bonney after separating from her husband and had I think off hand that they had three children one of whom was my mother vallerie June but they were never married. She died of cancer in 1948 I believe it was. Cheers.

Hi Deb, UI06 and All,

Earlier in the thead the name  COLIN McINTYRE was discussed when Deb was searching for him .

With the additional information from UI06 there is a clearer picture now about him and ELSIE AGNES MAUD MCINTYRE.
This is his death in NSW

Reg 32625 In 1957    MACINTYRE COLIN
Mother ELSIE AGNES M
Father not listed
At BROKEN HILL

So Elsie was his mother and here is his burial at Broken Hill Cemetery

MCINTYRE   COLIN Location, Methodist METH OB 3 11
Date 21-Oct-1957
AGE 45YEARS
19772

A birthdate of 1912

She married a Mr. Hart (don't know his first name and I believe they were not divorced) in Broken Hill, N.S.W.

Here is another death in NSW

Reg 25926 In 1919    HART LACHLAN J
Father RICHARD C
ELSIE A M
BROKEN HILL

This would seem to be the "Mr HART"

This child was young at death
This child was young at death. Broken Hill Cemetery

HART L C Location Anglican  ANGL D12A
Date 11-Oct-1919
AGE 1YEARS
13785

Perhaps this is the marriage of RICHARD HART in Broken Hill

REG 753 In1898 HART, RICHARD
 to POLLARD JANE
 At BROKEN HILL

A number of births to this  couple can be seen to 1910

Possibly Richard died in 1917.  This date would still allow for baby Lachlan to be under 2 years at death in 1919

Reg 2224 In 1917 HART, RICHARD
 Father RICHARD
 Mother SARAH
 At BROKEN HILL

Certificates would be needed to validate these possibilities, but may be a starting point ;D

ADDING
Looking back I do see I have repeated some information form previous helpers. Hope it will not matter too much!

From research on Ancestry.com, I think that Elsie Agnes Maud was my paternal great grandmother.
My grandfather was William Bonney and his family originated from Broken Hill / Wilcannia. Thanks for filling in some blanks about Elsie. Because she died so young, I wasn't exactly sure on her name (or her parents) as my dad didn't remember her.

Hi - further to Elsie Agnes Maud McIntrye and William Bonney. I don't know how much you know of the Bonney family history or if you want to know much about it but I will throw it out there anyway. William Bonney was the son of Emma Vale who was born in the shearers quarters of the Beltana Station homestead (I have been there and the building is still standing and in use as tourist accom.) I think from memory her father James Vale was a boundry rider or stockman at Beltana in S.A.'s mid-north after leaving the South Australian police force when he married. As Wm sr. died in Broken Hill of pneumonia six months before Emma became pregnant with William Bonney junior (my grandfather), he could not have been fathered by William Bonney senior, which may explain why Emma moved to Wilcannia and put her deceased husband's name on William's birth certificate as father! Wm. sr must have had a rough childhood as he jumped ship (as a 16 year-old) when it docked in Pt Adelaide ("Golden Sea" 15/05/1876) and he headed north and for a while was the barman at the Wirrabara Hotel. As far as the McIntyre's go I am still trying to get a true fix on John's parents (there seem to be 2 or 3 John McIntyre's living in the Barossa who could be his father John sr and I am currently reinvestigating this line. Cheers U106
