So we are still looking for Samuels marriage and Amelias birth....

been to the library and can't find much!! frustrating!!

found Elizabeth Belcher ill d/o Mary Quorn 2/5/1825

searched Barrow on Soar marriages 1827 -1835; bapa 1824 -1836; L'boro baps 1827 -1835; marriages same

on the IGI Leics in the library John & Sarah children are bap as woodhouse General baptist church - this agrees with the records i gave as non conformist. leics record office have these so GO mike!! its possible Samuel & ? were married  as NC.
I have also checked on BMD registers online :

lists of non conformist BMDs - have seen the children on here but you need credits to see full records. Amelia not coming up on index though. Only samuel belcher coming up is marriage 1745 inLondon!!

Just to confirm Records Office Non conformist marriages for
General Baptists…… Woodhouse

START 1927 Through to  1946.

I did check out CO’E…….. Woodhouse, Woodhouse Eaves
and Newtown Linford which was the nearest Village to Ulverscroft.
 
Plus they would have had to Marry in an Co’E Church in those days
As they were not allowed to marry in their own Chapel
But they could use their own Nonconformist  Minister.

Sorry…….No Marriage found.
