Can anyone tell me who Digger's mother was?  and for sure his fathers name was George?  Some posts are stating that his father was Diveris or Diver?  but there is no name for the wife.  I thought George was Diggers father and Diggers real name.  Thank you.  Digger was my Grandfathers uncle, and my Grandfathers name was James Horatio Stanley, he was born in the late 1890's and was also Romany Gypsy decent.  Does anyone have any Saunders relations to the Stanleys as I know they were intertwined all through

Hi Valda.  I've read your post about Digger and all the census info which is very informative, however all the ages are wrong.. is that normal.  If Cinderella was 61 when she died she couldn't have been on the census at 68 right?  Im new to this so I appologize but just trying to get a jist of it all.   Could you advise, where else I might be able to search online for free?
Thank you.

Hi, my Single name was Stanley, my father was John Henry Stanley born 1917 whose parents were George Stanley "Digger" and his mother was Alice Davis (she was previously married and her married name was Rackham). My grandfather "Digger" parents were George and Cinderella. Digger's wife was Annetta (Annette) Chesterman. Digger lived/died whilst living with my grandmother of TB March 1919. If I can be of any help, please get in touch

HI,

George is a relative somewhere along my tree.  I am not quite sure where he fits in at the moment.  I have only just been informed about him.
He is related to my 3rd great grandfather William who was born in 1793 and sent to Australia as a convict for stealing a horse.

Any info would be appreciated.
