I found the 1851 census (Kirk Smeaton, Pontefract) for:

Charles Neal (c.1811) born Bow, Middlesex
Mary (c.1811) Wood Bridge, Suffolk
Sarah Ann (c.1839) Kirk Smeaton
Henry (Bridsy?) (c.1841) Kirk Smeaton
Thomas (c.1844) Kirk Smeaton
Frederick (c.1846) Kirk Smeaton
Charles (c.1848) Kirk Smeaton (probably your gggrandfather)
Alice Mary (c.1850) Kirk Smeaton

and also in 1851 (Gringley, Notts)

Charles Brewitt (c.1820) Gringley
Mary (c1824) Gringley
Elizabeth Ann (c.1849) Gringley

Hi little h

had a ride to the cemeteries office today and found out the following:

Grave number is T138/2 which contains

Charles Neale b1848 Yorkshire - d 1922 - cause of death bronchitis - occupation joiner-  parents Charles and Mary Neale - burial number 9952

Elizabeth Ann Neale nee Brewitt b1849 Gringley on the Hill - d 1924 - cause of death bronchitis - burial number 10742 (away in Goole)

Also buried there is

Ernest Neale b1881 - d 25/9/1954 - buried on 29th - was OAP - burial number 17973

Rhoda Neale b1883 - d 31/1/1961 - buried 4th Feb - widow aged 78 - burial number 19112.

Then visited cemetery which is very old and could not find a headstone, but took photographs around area T shown on the attached map provided by the cemeteries office. Having trouble attaching photos due to file size but will work at it and send them later.

Hope that this helps your search

AJ

hi
youve got my full attention, iv not got 1911 cencus for Charles & Elizabeth Ann but have it for their daughter Mary Florence & her husband Charles Simpson ( my gt grandparents) they were in Leeds.
unfortunately money is always needed else where & buying cencus records is not usually at the top of the needs list so getting extra info is always welcome, thanx
