South Australia Henry Mariot HOARE

Has anyone out there come across a Henry Mariot/Marryat HOARE?  He married a Hilda Rosetta JARRETT in 1914 in Adelaide, South Australia. His father's given name is Frank, but apart from that, and the name of his children, I can't seem to find anything about him.  Thanks for any help   Completed

I don't see any WWI records for him.

My understanding was that he was a ganger on the wharves.  I don't know if this was an industry that was exempt from WW1 service.

Thanks guys, yes you have helped. I only ever had basic information about him. He's not closely related to me, he married my Gt Grandmother, Hilda.  As Hilda appears to have multiple partners, I am trying to piece together information about her through roundabout sources.  Any information on any of her partners all adds to her story.  Once again thanks
