Thanks to each of you who have gone to so much trouble - now to proving!!

Parents have been confirmed as William Claxton and Anne (Seale).  Now to work on the rest.

I am really enjoying this!!

Good wishes

Perhaps George on the 1901 Irish census is William George as the age is right.

Florence, wife, age 22
William, father, age 78
Rebecca F., sister, age 39

Have spent a large part of the evening GRADUALLY putting the parts of the jig-saw together .... and staring some new sections on the 'John's' Vancouver side! Delighted with some of the connections we have managed to put together thanks to all the input yesterday.

Definately the same connection in Toronto and Vancouver in the 1900's.

Again many thanks.

Good searching valerie...I am a little at odds as to why the searches for only Claxton as father and Seale as mother didn't turn up those same B.C. results....I think the more they add the less well the site works. I wish that database was as good as the old one for phonetics, and close spellings...
yeah, George was probaly used to avoid confusion between father & son both being William, while he was in the household...
Did  you say you found someone in Toronto that matched a Claxton, Danishdots ?

Thank you Joanne - the same tree as Anne Seale.  Not sure about Richard.  Will send a personal message.
