Hi,

My great grandmother was Margaret Duff, and was the daughter of Agnes Methven and George Duff. Agnes was the daughter of Colin Methven and Janet Watson.

Margaret was originally married to a David McGill around 1862 ( going from memory) and had two daughters Joan and Davina. David was killed in a mining accident at Whitburn in 1864.

In 1871 she married my great grandfather David Anderson.

I am descended from David and Margaret's son George Duff Anderson.

Janet V?   We corresponded quite a bit away back .
