It does look a bit like Gr aunt ...

However why would anyone write the same word/s so many times and cross some out. To me it still looks like someone practising spelling the word, and crossing out their mistakes ...  ;)

I have got a rough date of between 1900 and 1910 for the picture. This based on the a style of photograph. attire and jewelry. This would put the birth date of the person in the picture in the late 1870's and the mid 1890's. With this in mind it really shortens the list of people she could be.
