Hi
Tom Lockyer was my uncle. Sadly he passed away several years ago. I have a digital copy of part of his wartime diary if this is useful.

Hello blueriff.

I would love to see a copy of your uncle POW diary, either on here or by e mail etc.

Your uncle and my father were in a pow camp together and I have drawings done by Tom in my fathers POW log which can be seen here.

Hi David

If you mail me I'll try attaching the docs to an email. It may be too large for an attachment, if so I'll put it in a cloud store and give you access/share details.

Cheers

Chris Lockyer

I am interested in contcting the family of T.M. Lockyer, pilot of Spitfire R6598 of 1 PRU who was shot down 23/2/41 and ended up a P.O.W. at Stalag Luft III.

His wartime adress was.

8 Hamilton Road,

I have information I wish to share.

I am his niece, Madeleine Lockyer and have only just seen your post, so I immediately registered with Rootschat. I look forward to hearing from you.

Madlock I presume you were the successful bidder of the Lockyer artifacts recently sold on e bay, my interest in this is that "Tich" Lockyer and my father were POW's together.  As you and Madeline are new to this site I do not think you have the privilege of sending each other messages, I believe you have to make 5 posts to be able to do this.
