Hi Michobb

I'm the late Tom Lockyers nephew. Do you have contact details?

He may not have enough post to enjoy PM privileges.  If you hear nothing I can act as a conduit.

I am Irene Arckless's niece. A showcase about her and Tommy Lockyer has just gone on display at the Maidenhead Heritage centre where they have an exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the ATA.  The museum curator would appreciate any further information on the couple to add to their records. I believe you would probably have the most up to date information from the research you did for your book if you would be willing to share that.

There is a new specific website for the ATA being developed by the Maidenhead Heritage centre www.atamuseum.org  Any information on Irene Arckless,  Tommy Lockyer or indeed any ATA pilot would be gratefully received.

Hello Carol.   Many thanks for this and, no, I hadn't already seen this article.  It is amazing how much information is out there.  I am keen to put a story together for Renee and Tommy so it is recorded in the ATA museum archives.  Although I am Renee's niece I don't know the full story about the couple although I am finding out a lot from the internet.  Renee died before I was born but my father, Oswald Buglass [ who met Renee at the Border Flying Club Carlisle] did take me to meet Tommy Lockyer some years ago.  Thanks again.  Dyan
