Hello everyone,

I am hoping someone can direct me on this board

I am looking for the Beatty family
Parents John Beatty and Margaret both born c1817
Children
Jane
Mary Ann
Ambrose
Catherine
John
Alexander.


The family emigrated in 1861. I am hoping to find out where they lived, the only information I have is they were from County Longford.

All ideas very welcome.

Hi Shane,

Both Margaret and John are buried in an Anglican churchyard here in NZ

I guess they were not Catholic.

The Church of Ireland parish name seems to are a little different in spelling, but I assume this is the same one :

 Clongish/Clonguish/Clonghishkilloe
 baptisms from 1821
 marriages and deaths from 1820

These records are available in the RCB Library in Rathfarnham.
