I think I saw it mentioned in a magazine article and being nosey, at a loose end and surrounded by family tree brick walls thought I'd have a look!

I'm still nosey....less often at a loose end...but have knocked down monumental brick walls all with the help of Rootschat!!

So if you don't mind, I'll keep coming back!  ;D

Fellow researcher told me leave a message.left one last year did'nt use it again till a couple of weeks ago....but now am well and truly hooked.

As GRACELAND said ' it don't really matter how we found it.... but its a great site

I was bored and completely fed up.  I typed in a general search for genealogy in the hope that a site I hadn't seen before would pop up and answer all my questions.  Guess what?  It did ROOTSCHAT.

Funny, I don't seem to get bored or fed up anymore!

I saw mention of it in a newspaper article about a teenager who had started tracing his family tree.  The rest is (family) history! :)

I'm almost certain that I found rootschat by accident, it's the best accident I've ever had including the 2 sat behind me  ;) :)

Like a lot of others i was bored and my brickwalls were just getting higher and like magic rootschat just appeared ,so i had a mooch about and wasnt impressed at all because the first few posts i read were basically a slanging match between two rootschatters then it got more intresting and i got more intrested and the rest as Paul(he says   ;Dbowing at the mention of his name these days)says his history

       I was googling around one day and typed in my birth towns name and up popped a question someone was asking on Rootschat.
     I thought hey-up I know the answer to that  ;D.........and thats how I got here.
