Patrick McGreevy *COMPLETED*

Hi,

I am looking for Patrick McGreevy who went to settle in New Zealand around the area of Charleston in the year 1887. Am trying to find out what ship he arrived on,

Did he marry and who were his children?
He died aged 78 years of age in 1908.

In 1896 E Roll Westport is a PATRICK McGREVY
and a LOUIE GREY at Westport ??married, addresses not matching but i did see
deaths for a LOUISE MCGREAVY
Looking at Buller Cemetery though, this Louise could well be red herring, buried alone

I believe that the Patrick McGreevy whose death was reported in the  Grey River Argus , 9 March 1908 is the Patrick I am looking for. He was born in County Down Ireland abt 1830.

The burial you noticed of Louisa could be Patrick McGreevy's son James wife. According to what little information I have James McGreevy married a Louisa Anderson . Sorry I do not have the date of the marriage. But Patrick settled in New Zealand around 1887

James was born in Ireland.
