hello there, am looking for any info on george aitchison died 3apr 1908 age 30 and his brother  richard died 7dec 1906 at backworth colliery.many thanks. regards william

hi william, just to let you know that i was at newcastle central library yesterday and i copied down the entries for both brothers from the chronicles for you. I will send you the details later on this afternoon when i am back in amongst my mountains of paperwork. John.

GEORGE AITCHISON - Evening Chronicle Monday 6th April 1908

AITCHISON - 55 Havelock Place, backworth on 5th inst aged 30.  George, second and dearly beloved son of of George and Elizabeth Aitchison.  To be interred at Earsdon Churchyard on Wednesday 8th April.  All friends kindly invited.


RICHARD AITCHISON - Evening Chronicle Saturday 8th December 1906

AITCHISON - Backworth, 55 Havelock Place on 7th December, aged 23.  Richard, dearly beloved son of George and Elizabeth Aitchison.  To be interred at Earsdon Churchyard on Tuesday 11th December.  Cortege to leave residence at 2pm.  Friends kindly invited.
