Looking for parents of Everet Shepard b1757

Hello folks, is there any chance you could do a lookup for me please.
I am trying to find the parents of My gggg-Grandfather:

Everet Shephard born abt1757 Yelling, Huntingdon.
1789 married at Offord Cluny, St Neots to Sarah Male or Maile b1770 dau of Johna & Jane Male of Yelling, Huntingdon.
1829 Everet Shephard burried 25 Aug, Yelling, Huntingdon.

I have details of their kids [a son was named Everet Shephard b1806] but not the parents of Everet Shephard snr, I should be grateful for whatever help you can offer.

Hi,

There a a few trees on another site that have his parents as John Shephard & Francis Elizabeth Smith. But there are no sources to prove it.

The earliest Shepherd entry in Yelling PR was in 1790, so Everet, or however his name was spelt, appears to have been born elsewhere

The problem with the parents John and Frances is that they are shown as being married in Kent 8 years after Everet's alleged birth in Yelling, with all his other alleged siblings being born in Kent. I need to be convinced!

I agree with you completely, I have seen trees with copied info from my tree with other info that does not tie in, some people just add info without checking for true sources.

Thanks Sharon, seen that. It's totally wrong.
I made the mistake of thinking every body else had it right and copied them. I have recently found out that those Faversham families are not connected to mine.

Yes, I understand your point, but what I was trying to point out that I have seen people copy some names and then add census & other records that just are not the same as the names added into their tree.

Hope you know what I mean anyway. But lets not spoil the fun of it by moaning, many seem to be addicted to it as I am so can not complain. Sorry now rambling.

Thanks for that. So it's unlikely that my Everet was born Yelling - they just found work and lived there I suppose.

So was he born  Offord Cluny the same place as wife Sarah Male was baptised and they were married...
