James and Bridget Hoey.
« on: Saturday 11 September 10 15:24 BST (UK) »
:) James and Bridget Hoey were my Great Great Grandparents. Rose Hoey and Joseph were my Great Grandparents and Patrick Holland and Mary Roddy were my Grandparents, on my mothers side(Rosaleen Holland my mother deceased)
I am led to believe that a graveyard in Maraclone, Mullaghrafferty, county Monaghan which is the graveyard at St Patricks has family gravestones. Would anybody who lives near or knows of this graveyard please take a look to see if their are graves marked with any of the above names? Would be very obliged for any infomation.
Alphonsus Gerard Matthews.

Hi Alphonsus :)

I apologise.  I'm only just getiing back on line and I only just saw this.  I'm related to Hoeys who seem to originate from Louth.

i can't help with photo's but I'm wondering if I have anything else of use.

I'm a bit confused though.  Maybe just my lack of knowledge of Ireland.  What's the link with Monaghan?

Do you have some dates and places for births so I can see if there are any linbks or information I can pass on?

Best wishes

Emms :)
