Hi, I am researching Baxter's from Kendal, Westmorland.

John Baxter (1825-1885) married Sarah McDonald (1829-1870).  John and Sarah had a number of children, but I am following James William Baxter (1857-1897).  James William Baxter married Elizabeth Drennan (1856-?).  James and Elizabeth had a son named Ernest Baxter (1889-1955) and they lived at 22&23, Chapel Lane, Kirkland, Kendal, Westmorland.

Census information on the family can be found here http://www.briercliffesociety.co.uk/talkback/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2595

Hi Sarah McDonald had a son William he married Maria Airey and they had aa daugter Elizabeth Ann Baxter. 1871
I believe her to be my husband’s great grandmother
She moved to Oldham and had an illegitimate daughter Gladys Baxter 1904
I am interested in William Baxter Sarah’s son who appears to have several wives. His occupation is listed as a nail maker.
Elizabeth eventually married James Edward Tattersall in Oldham
