George Henry Bird

Hello,

I am looking for information regarding George Henry Bird who was born in Guernsey 18th Dec 1863 on St Peter Port. He married Florence Plumridge in 1905.  George died in Birmingham on 10 July 1927.

I believe from a relative that I still have relatives in Guernsey?!?!?

1871 census for St Peter Port - all born there.  Given Laura's age - either Sophia's age is wrong or George was previously married

My information on George Henry Bird is that he married Mary Elizabeth Austin and they had 5 children that I have found. Do you know if Florence Plumtree was his second wife. I have a lot of info on the family as George's sister Sarah Elizabeth was my great grandmother.

George Bird, shoemaker was the father of Daniel Bird Ollivier B 1839 illegitimately to Betsy Marguerite Ollivier. Could this be George Bird who married Ellen Mallavy in 1840? Son of  Samuel Bird of Brixham, Devon? And father of John, born St Peter Port in 1846? Trying to trace that line back.
