hello

from am earlier census of the same family
it says crowle, lincolnshire

so I am presuming it would be lincolnshire

Crowle is right on the border of Lincs and Yorks, and in the past the border has shifted back and forth. Some info on admin district past and present here:

Navn, this was a great find
someone on there looking for William who was
on that census I am talking about
apparently her grandma had a child
to him and they were farmers from crowle
hoping to get more info, but thank you
as this has opened up a possible lead
