His father Theodore Harach  birth June 15 1850 died March 22 1933  born in

> a relative says  theodore has 12 brothers but have no records of this

Theodore is formal given name (more likely found on metryka/baptismal certificate).
Probably called Fedor or Fedko by family. 

Мазурок  = Mazurok
Сущак = Suschak/Susczak

my Kabluckyj family were from Roghatyn in the same area/  Poland -Ukraine -Poland -Ukraine...it is very difficult...I have had a Professor from Kiev University helping me ...but essentially , I have to go there to confirm any records....can I ask what exactly are you researching ?

Hiya Hannia....I don`t know...Rohatyn / Rogatyn  different spellings....Kabluckyj I believe may be Kablutzji as a different spelling...it`s very frustrating....he died aged 40 in 1967 after being a Prisoner of War here in england from 1946 to 1949...he was given the choice to go back to the Ukraine or stay in England...he stayed...some of his friends who went back were shot.....he served with SS.Gallicia troop......allan

Leopolis = Latin for Lviv (Ukr)/Lwow(Polish)/Lemberg (Austrian), all of which mean CITY OF THE LION. 

Sokal was/is a county in the Lviv/Lwow/Lemberg region w/appx 40+ villages.[/b]
