MANY THANKS John and David I have a lot to go on now and sort out. I have as I said just moved down to Bedford and am still trying to find my way about. I will have to visit Poddington soon also Colmworth where my late wifes family have connections as I have posted on here before my mother in laws maiden name was also Wagstaffe and it now seems even more of a coincidence that my roots also come back to the same area. I got a lot of info from this board before particularly from you David .

                          Thanks once again Rob
