Hi , My name is Chris and my cousin Peter McIndoe is the son of David Mcindoe And Norah Hobbs. David is the son of George McIndoe and Mary Wood Patterson.

We are also mystified as to why we can not find any birth records but would love to find out more about the family.

I am a fairly experienced researcher and it has me baffled
Warm regards Chris

Hello all,
Victoria was like most of the Australian states, BDM's were not always registered, Qld charged a fee and if the people had no money that day/week, no records were recorded.
How about seeking out the baptism records to do with the religion of the parents.
hansen of kobenhavn danmark, honnor of london, merrylees etc of scotland, truscott of cornwall, tout of england, lovett of england, barrett of warwick england,  jacobs and hallam of london, beach  and morgan of qld australia, littlejohn, henwood and pearn of cornwall, walker, watherston etc, wilsone and watt of scotland, blaik and bowman of scotland, mccarthy of ireland.
