Anybody out there tell me where I might find crew pictures of 10 squadron RAF. I've been on the 10 sqd website and had no luck.  BN

Thanks Dave.  Sadly couldn't find what i was looking for . The aircraft and crew I'm looking for is ZA-Q I'll tell you the story. My Brother in Law's Great Uncle Flew with !0 sqd ,and was killed in action. We know just about every thing there is to know about the crew , where they crashed and where they are buried. All we want is a photo of the crew. We intend to visit the site of the crash and the graves next year and would like to a picture with us.  Thank for you help.
Dave

Hello Dave,
I have looked a bit further, and have found your efforts regarding RG443, you and your relatives have worked very hard.
I see that a photo of your relative and also the pilot, Ronald Gibbs, are to be found on www.bomber-crew.com, but maybe you posted them.
Not every crew took advantage of having a crew photo taken, and of those that did, you are up against the survival, 70-odd years later.
I would offer the suggestion of trying to trace families of the other crewmembers. Another long slog for you.
Dave

Thanks Dave. Yes it has been a long hard slog, i've loved every bit of it. My father was in Aircrew in WWII.   Thankfully he survived two tours of opp's. So I love to get involvoled in anything regarding aircrew in WWII. Early on in our quest we tried to contact familys of the crew with no luck. Hopefully we will find someone with a photo. Our only other mission is to visit the Graves in Holland and the crash site. Maybe we will find a part of the aircraft  to bring home with us.
Thank again for all your help. Dave.

Might be worth trying the IWM and the RAF Museum to see if they have anything.  Also the Air Historical Branch...
