Your correct about Charles Egan being a publican at sone stage, he gets a mention in the 1875 NSW PO Directory as an Innkeeper at Glen Innes, he was also an Auctioneer at Inverell in the 1898 NSW Country Traders Directory.

There are a couple of mentions of a Charles Egan of Inverell in the NSW Police Gazette, do you want these?

Also there was a Charles Egan Police Constable in 1866 whould he have been your Charles or too young?

Regards

Gerry

Good Morning,

Some of the FLOODs in  my records/ data bases for 1885 are:-

James FLOOD of 'Spring Ville', Carcoar 509 acres, five horses, two cows for milking, 300 sheep and four pigs.

John FLOOD of Mount Leiws, Carcoar, 100 acres, two horses only - no other stock.

In the same area there are Anastasia FLOOD, Richard FLOOD, Thomas Flood.

I note in 1882 a Thomas EGAN of the Australian Hotet at Euroka in the Carcoar Licensing District.Hotel
