Hi I wonder if Irish Rose can help a poor old Aussie to find out more information about his Ancestors who came from the  Town of Graigue Parish of Killeshin ?
My great grand father was John Kennedy born abt. 1834 Arles Queens Co. married Elizabeth Doyle 25 /6/1853 in Graigue Kileshine Queens Co.   Witnesses were Brody Doyle & Mary Weston ? Elizabeth Doyle was born in 1823 in Athy Co.
Their daughter born Bridget Margaret born C. 1854 .
His Brother Robert Kennedy  born 1829/30  Mayo, Killabban Co. Laois married Catherine Barrington
on 27/11/1849 at Graigue Killeshin they had at least 3 children : Mary/Maria bapt.7/3/1852at Graigue Killeshin;
James Bapt. 10/1/1845 at Graigue Killeshin;   Annie Kennedy born in Graigue, Killeshin about 1855 Bapt. 30/1/1855 Sponsors were  Anne  Barrington & John ?
Brother Michael Kennedy born 1831 Arles Killebban married Elizabeth O'Neill C1847/1850 unknown place?Elizabeth O'Neill was born c 1829 in Carlow.
  Sister Ann Kennedy born 1832 Arles Killabban was an one of the Irish Orphan Went to Australia 1849.
Their Parents James Kennedy & Bridget Brennan were dead  before 1849. A number of their relatives lived in Graigue ie. Barringtons; Alcocks; Doyles etc.
