Help in deciphering census
« on: Friday 08 October 10 11:44 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have a poor copy of the entry for Anne Jones, age 47, born Ponyeats, living No. 11 Mill Lane, Llanelly (RG12/4495 page 32) in the 1891 census. It says "Living on own ?????" could be __n_ans. (It should be something along the lines of Means or Income). Can anyone else interpret this?

Thank you

Yes - "Living on own Means" was a fairly standard description, and that is what this looks like.
