Margaret Faith does not appear in my tree but it only goes back to Thomas Faith born 1838 he lived the last part of his life in Glasgow.

Hello again!

Well your mention of Gedcom made me Google it, and download the family tree builder programme; I've been addin what I've found, and already there have been matches, Margaret Faith appearing in two different trees with parents listed as Thomas Faith and Jane O'Neil!

Really quite excited, so would be delighted to see your Gedcom file if possible!

Many thanks,
                     SP.

I know I'm a little late chimming into the conversation, but I was wondering if you had much luck establishing the portrush birth connection?

Im searching for George Potter b1885, who is listed in the same household as your George Potter in the 1901 Port Glasgow census. He would be your Georges Uncle.

I know George (1885) is listed as being born in Ireland, and that his Grandparents were married in Derry Ireland but I have had great difficulty identifying any other information. I have found one record of a George Potter born between Oct-Dec 1884 in Larne but have been unable to find any follow up information.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm searching on behalf of my Grandmother Harriet Keith nee Potter, who says she was quite close to James and Margaret btw.

Thanks, Caroline.

Coincidentally I've just started looking into the family tree again, so many thanks for this! I knew the year of his birth, but not the exact date, so that helps a lot!

Best,

SP.
