Adam appears to be in Cincinnati in 1880 also.  The Family Search Labs site has his surname transcribed as Shinan, but it looks like Shirran on the image.

OK, I see it.  It seems it must be the same guy but he got progressively younger.  From 1853 until 1872 he was born in 1853.  In 1880 he was born in 1855.  In 1900 he was born in 1857 and in 1902 he was born in 1861!
