scott family-Fife

Im wondering if the previous posts' information may be some of my ancestors from my mother's side.

My 3rd Great Grandfather  William Scott was born ABT. 1815 in Leslie, Fife, Scotland
He died 23 March 1894 Camlachie, Glasgow.  His father was Alexander Scott.  William's death certificate had no name for his mother.

William married Margaret Sharp in 1836.  Their daughter Lillias Scott ABT. 1854 -1933  born in Portmoak, Kinrosshire was my 2nd Great Grandmother.

I have Scott's from Fife in my tree, Robert Scott is the earliest, probably born around 1790 ish. He married Margaret Smart in 1818 in Dysart. They had a son, Andrew (1834 - 1898).

Hi all
                I am currently researching my Scott family, from Cupar and surrounding areas, back as far as 1790. How can I get details of burial plots in Fife.  My first known relation is Alexander Scott born around 1790 who married Robina (Binnie) Miller in Beath 9/5/1818. She was born in Leslie around 1797(1794), some doubt. She died in Leslie (Prinlaws) ON 21/4/1856 with age given as 62.
I would like to find especially Alexander,s birth and death details as he is not listed in the 1841 census. His wife and family are listed in the 1851 but not him.
Can anyone help?

David Scott and his wife Margaret Robertson, the daughter of Henry Robertson and Janet Low, came to Australia on the ship, Childe Harold in 1853.

I wonder if your Alexander Scott is my 4th Great Grandfather?  His son William had a daughter Rubina/Robina around 1845.

Hi , I Don,t have a William on my family tree. When was he born. ? There were a few Alexander Scotts around that time. I have seven children for him and Robina Miller. Two daughters called Lillias b1826 In Leslie and Robina b 1830 Leslie. Similar names to your descendants.

Hi Alexander scott and robina miller married in 1818 in hill o beath. First child I have record for is Janet b 1819 in Auchterderran.  Your William was born 1815 with no record of mother. Either a different Alexander scott or our one had child before marriage, but strange no mothers name . Have you got record of his birth details or any census data. Maybe when he died those left never new his mother's name. Robina miller died in leslie in 1856. She and Alexander would have been in teens when William was born.
