Robert J Rennie born 1889?

HI All
I hope somone can help with this. I am trying to find the parents of Robert J Rennie born c. 1889 Kirkmaiden. I have him in 1901 with what must be his Grandparents John and Maryann Chalmers living at Portlogan Parks aged 12. Can you please find him on the 1891 census or really grateful for any help with this as it's a bit of a family mystery.

His birth entry is registered under Rennie: Robert John Rennie, 1889, Kirkmaiden....may be the only way to determine his parents?

Hi Monica,
Thank you for the information, I think the only way to find out who his parents were is to send for his birth certificate. I know he got married in 1939 so I will send for that also.

Just from IGI (which is playing up this morning!), the only daughter, born early enough, for John and Mary Ann Chal/mbers was an Annie b. 1864 in Kirkmaiden. I can see her on the 1881 census working as a servant in Kirkmaiden but not easily after this date unfortunately.

Hi Monica,
Thank you for that, I think Annie got married and went to live in Glasgow, I know that's where she died in 1928.
I will have to find out who she married.
