Hi
I believe our families link somewhere as I recognise the names. My g grandfather was Dangerfield Carey his father was Levi and his father was Levi.
I believe his mother was a Mary Ann Harris.

Please get in touch.

How exciting - it's my ex's side of the family but it's my children's roots. I recognise a lot of the names. I have a huge tree on Ancestry.

..... the moses/Moore family...originally the family lived in Cork

That's interesting. I've somehow got it into my mind that Moore is an Irish Gypsy name. One of mine, with familial / historical connections with Eire, ended up marrying a Moore ~ later in life. After a long widowhood. Interesting choice.

Lot of Harris blood in Portsmouth.
GAITES (Alverstoke / Bath Pre 1850)
CURTIS (Portsmouth & 1800's Berkshire).
BURGE (Dorset, Somerset and Hampshire)
HUNTLEY (Dorset, Hampshire, Sussex, 'Surroundings')
