Right then, I think I might have made some progress to find out where my missing Bloomfield's were baptised.

I managed to find one, Elizabeth at St Margaret's Church in 1875, Ipswich among a whole list of baptisms that while they took place at this church it stated that they were of St Johns.

As the current St Johns church wasn't opened until 1898 I then found out there was another St John Church as seen here:

http://www.suffolkchurches.co.uk/oldstjohn.htm

As my Bloomfield's lived in Cauldwell Hall Road, and as that they were no longer baptised at St Clements church after 1855 it seems logical that they were christened here but where are the records as they don't appear to be at the Suffolk Records Office as I have a list of what they have and all that is listed is:

Ipswich St John 1880-1900.

Any ideas about where these records could be if they have even survived ?
Bloomfield, Knights, Whitmore, Warner (Suffolk)
Hamlin (London, Yorkshire, Scotland, Suffolk)
Mattocks, Newick, Nutter, (Kent)
Mattocks (Staffs)
